Automatic detection of new media stopped working

Hi,

Noticed recently emby is no longer automatically detecting new media, I have to run the scan media task.

Any thoughts?

I added Peaky Blinders season 3 and 4 before getting the logs and it still hadn't detected it at that point.

Is your media stored on the same machine as the server?

There are no librarymonitor events in the log except for a playlist and your schedule task scan only appears to pick up "The Day of the Jackal" 1973 movie.

So may need more info on library setup and what was added.

as all these items were probed for one reason or another.

Specifically, what you added and where.  But will guess you are adding additional content to /volume1/video/TV Shows/ correct?

But may need to see how all of your libraries are set via your Library page.

Correct, yes. 

What I don't understand is why it's worked fine for so long then just suddenly stops with no changes made. 

A manual scan always finds the new media so it's not the end of the world, I just wondered, what changed?

Not sure as I don't see any inotify issues and if library is on same system they should be seen by RTM.  

Have you verified RTM is enabled per library?  Maybe toggle off then back on?
