ozzz 0 Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 Hi My server version is 4.8.10.0 and runs on Nvidia Shield. I'm using the Emby client on my Ipad. When I stream media in my home (LAN) the subtitles are displayed as expected, but when I stream the same media using remote access (WAN) the subtitles are not displayed. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance
ebr 16169 Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!

Thanks.
ozzz 0 Posted November 16, 2024 Author Posted November 16, 2024 @ebrI attached the log in a plain format. Thank you again. 192.168.40.107_8096_emby_System_Logs_embyserver-63867225630.txt_api_key=a1a699acef23493aaf4dd0c35ea5c170.txt
Luke 42077 Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Hi, are you sure you have the subtitle track selected in the player?
ozzz 0 Posted November 17, 2024 Author Posted November 17, 2024 Yes. The subtitles appears for couple of seconds and then disappears. When streaming via LAN the subtitles are displayed for the entire track.
Luke 42077 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 HI, we'll take a look at it. Thanks for reporting.

ozzz 0 Posted December 17, 2024 Author Posted December 17, 2024 No. I'm not using Safari, I'm using the Emby app. Also, I'm not downloading the subtitles, I already have the subtitle file, it is just not loaded when I'm streaming via WAN (it is working well when streaming via LAN).
