jogislav 0 Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 Hi I just came across Emby recently and was so impressed that I upgraded to premium almost instantly. The main reason I am so enthusiastic is that Emby allows me to create playlists that contain songs and music videos in the same playlist. However, while this works in the browser, it does not work in the Android app. I have a playlist that contains songs and music videos. When I start the playlist and a video is first, the video is played. If the next item is a video, it plays fine. If the next item is a song, however, I get the error message "Playback Error - There was an error processing the request. Please try again later." I think I do not have to point out that trying it later does not help. I get the same error if the playlist starts with a song. Apparently, the Android app has an issue with playing songs contained in a playlist that has songs and music videos in it. This occurs on a mobile phone (Galaxy S21), a Tablet (Pixel Tablet) and in ChromeOS. I installed the latest version from Google Play (3.4.20) and the server is on version 4.8.10.0. One more thing: when I cast the whole thing from the Android app to a Google TV, the videos and songs are played perfectly with no issues. Any help or comments are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
