no access to change Emby Connect Password

what am i doing wrong? this will be kind of long, bare with me please. Emby is working great on Phone, Apple TV, This PC im on. i gave access to a friend on there Samsung TV. at the time no problem. everything worked great. Now i would like to remove there access to the server i use. I know there using it because of the show they like watching. i changed password on the service i use. There still able to login and watch there show. On the devices that i use, Emby Connect auto signs me in, on PC, Apple TV, or the phone, i have no access to change that password. i had to make this Emby Community account just to post this Topic / problem. the Server that im logged into, i able to talk to the Admin who has control of it. im pretty sure he is able to remove the device that i dont want access to, it might be that simple yes, i just want to know why i am not able to have access to change my password in Emby connect? what am i doing wrong? can i link this new Emby Community account with my Current Emby Connect account. It seems like Emby and Emby Connect are two different accounts. Also...when i log out of Emby Connect (on PC) click on forgot password, i never get an email to change password. is this Emby or the server Admin side i need to be talking with? i hope this is not confusing. i am happy to answer any more questions about this.

If its not you own server installed on you hardware, you will need to talk to the admin of the server.

It seems like that because they are.  There is an Emby user with a password, set up in Emby by the server's admin.  There is optionally a Connect account (which is the same as this forum account, which is how you change that password), which the server admin can link to a chosen Emby user account.

You say you want to remove your friend's access to "the server you use" - if this is your server, then you can do this; if it is not actually your server, then it is for the admin of the server you are using to do.

heres an update, Admin of that server im on said he will remove device. not that it a big deal, service work fine, no complaints when i want to watch a show or movie, i just thought i would at least have access to change my own password. i will find out in the morning if it worked. thanks all that gave me an answer. He should remove the user altogether to prevent them from returning on the same device or different device. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
