I cannot log into emby Theatre.

I can't log into the emby Theatre app on Windows. I have enclosed a screenshot of the error message. I have tried numerous different entries for the host. Any help would be much appreciated.

Try without http:// in front of your ip 

and delete port after ip

It's still not working. I'm fairly new to emby. I have the feeling I'm doing something naive.

Is this from the same machine as server ?

Can you access the server from a browser, on the same machine as you try with Emby Theatre app ?

Yes it is. I can watch my emby content in a browser.

ok just for fun try with this ip on the same machine you installed the server.

127.0.0.1

same port.

Also make sure you network is set to private and NOT public.

Exactly the same results. It's so frustrating. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The time the error message comes up seems to be exactly the same every time.

If installed from windows store.
