spongebob69 10 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Hi, I want to use Uptime Kuma to monitor my Emby server. I think the best way is to check '/emby/system/info/public" endpoint, but every time I call it from Uptime kuma I get 403. Is the other way to do Emby server
Lessaj 467 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 (edited) Try a GET on /System/Ping. EDIT: Also you don't need /emby at the beginning of your path that's probably why you're getting the 403 in the first place. EDIT2: Cannot reproduce a 403 even with /emby and even trying a POST method (which shouldn't be valid anyway). Could get some 404 errors though. > GET /System/Ping HTTP/1.1 > Host: my.domain > User-Agent: curl/8.11.0 > Accept: */* > * Request completely sent off * TLSv1.3 (IN), TLS handshake, Newsession Ticket (4): * TLSv1.3 (IN), TLS handshake, Newsession Ticket (4): < HTTP/1.1 200 OK Edited November 11, 2024 by Lessaj
Luke 42079 Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Quote Try a GET on /System/Ping. This is the best and lightest approach as this endpoint won't be doing any work.
