UI Partially Unresponsive After Watching Episode

Tested Sony Bravia TV 3.4.20

Every time an episode finishes, I am left on a screen with 1 button (something like) "next episode".

I have tried all the remote buttons to activate the onscreen button including 'enter/ok' and 'play / pause', arrows....the only button that has an effect is "back". And that effect is to take you back to the episode...from where you can navigate normally.

Expected behaviour might be

"Enter/OK" on remote > activate "Next Episode" button and take you to next episode

"Back" > take you back to the episode page (of the episode just played) (as is the case currently)

been happening for a few weeks iirc.

In case it is relevant to the issue when do you go back..the UI doesnt immediately navigate to the previous episode page, the UI does some sort of double take and 'refreshes/redraws' the screen...a bit odd but not life changing and perhaps by design (? to refreshed the 'played' tick?) so i never thought to mention it before.

I think that I am seeing the same issue with the Android client (Version 3.4.20) and something pretty similar with the web client (Server version 4.8.10.0).

In every case I am playing an episode from the episode detail screen, not the season or series screens.

With both "Play next episode automatically" and "Show up next preview" enabled, the Web and Android clients show the "Keep Watching" and "Next Episode" buttons which are usable, and the next episode starts automatically.  However, the description for the "Show up next preview" option says "Show information for the next item near the end of the current one.".  No information is shown, just the buttons.  The Android TV client (version 2.1.21g) shows some information about the next item and (some different) buttons.

With the "Play next episode automatically" disabled and the "Show up next preview" enabled, for the Web and Android clients the behaviour is described by the OP.  The Android TV client  plays the episode and returns to the episode detail screen (no buttons or details).

@mjtbradywhat version of Emby for Android did you test this with?

ive just tested 3.4.31 and i still see an unresponsive "Next Episode" button after watching an episode on my TV.

FWIW i get the same experience on my mobile phone (3.4.31) so not a 'TV' issue.

I have "Play Next Episode Automatically" and "Show up next preview" both 'unticked'.

No change for me on .32...when im using mobile phone and i touch the "Next Episode" button, the OSD comes live showing back button, logo, volume slider and cast icon (only back, volume and cast are responsive, "Next Episode" button still unresponsive).
