Library Scan Taking a Long Time

I Started a new scan library scan the scan was at 16.9% 24 hours later it was at 18%. Is This Normal or is there a way to speed it up.

Looks like you have enabled video preview thumbnails on this library, this process takes a long time to complete depending on how many files you have, how large they are, IO speed, etc. For example this took almost 1 min 40 to complete.
