Is this correct?

My 2023 q80c samsung tv shows the emby app as version 1.8.0 with an updated date of 11/6 but this version # is very old & doesn't match with the version #'s & dates listed here. I know the emby updates are slower with samsung but the 2 don't match.

I thought 1.8 was the version dormthe June version on the samsung tvs. Mine has Nov date but not version 1.9.

Its not. I also un-installed the app & reinstalled it ...still 1.8.0

1.8.0 is the current version in the app store. I'm wondering if this is a sa.sumsung issue because month is a 2023 model.

See my response in your other topic, looks like Samsung are making changes which might explain what you're seeing.
