markand 9 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 I was staying at an Airbnb and installed Emby on to watch on the TV. I forgot to delete it when I checked out. Is it possible to disconnect it so that other's can't access my server from that TV?
Neminem 1519 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 You should change your password, then it should be logged out, next time the app is used. Otherwise NO. I would also consider changing domain name and ip address so its can't be reached by the client.
markand 9 Posted November 5, 2024 Author Posted November 5, 2024 I changed the password. If I delete the app from the devices list in the admin panel, does this force a log out? I would think that this would be a common scenario - not the Airbnb part, but disabling a remote device Also, it was amazingly complex to change the password.

From a direct connection standpoint yes as it will need to reauthenticate. But if it is using CONNECT no as it is different authentication. What do you mean complex to change password? But since there are technically two depending on your connection method I guess it could be but I don't use or depend on Connect so everything is right then in the server dashboard.
Sammy 790 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Hide the user from remote login and it won't show up on the device.
