LionBy 0 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 I am running Emby on a small Arm server. Transcoding isn't really an option and I wish I could simply disable it. It's becoming very frustrating to deal with Emby. H264 and AAC should work on my Roku device but I get "converting incompatible video level". I have no idea what that means and a search returned nothing. It buffers for a long time, plays a couple of seconds and then starts over. I can never watch the video. Here's the media info: Input #0, mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2, from 'video.mp4': Metadata: major_brand : isom minor_version : 512 compatible_brands: isomiso2avc1mp41 encoder : Lavf58.20.100 Duration: 01:00:01.07, start: 0.016009, bitrate: 2890 kb/s Stream #0:0[0x1](und): Video: h264 (High) (avc1 / 0x31637661), yuv420p(tv, bt709, progressive), 1920x1080 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 2752 kb/s, 60 fps, 60 tbr, 15360 tbn (default) Stream #0:1[0x2](eng): Audio: aac (LC) (mp4a / 0x6134706D), 44100 Hz, stereo, fltp, 128 kb/s (default) Any ideas on why it can't play this? H264 and AAC definitely work.

Luke 42077 Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 @LionBy Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
