My Emby server needs some help!

It is so long since I last needed to come here.  Everything has just worked and there has been no problem, until my server died.  I have everything running again and I thought Emby was okay...

Long and short is the server does not be able to see the media files and I cannot work out why.  I have checked the server has access to them, but when the server is running trying to Scan the libriaries returns immediately and all attempts to click on existing items result in a message about could not find a stream.  I am certain this will be something missing in the config but as I have not had to debug this for a long while I don't know where to find logs or anything.

What are my best next steps to debug this?  It's such a general fail that my searches for help are not focused enough to get an answer :-(

Okay, I have found the log files again     Looks like a permissions issue with the server seeing the files.  I can see them when I login to the server so the server must be running in a different context.

Hi there.  It did indeed.  Once Emby could properly see the files it sorted itself out overnight and is now working perfectly again.  Many thanks for checking on this.
