vanariekogel 2 Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Hi, We are experiencing an issue with our Emby media server at our school. We collect various documentaries that are not connected to each other. However, Emby is grouping them into "seasons," which we would like to prevent. We have a separate folder structure set up for each class, but Emby is creating seasons out of individual files in those folders. Is there an option to disable this? All metadata providers were turned off before import. Thanks!

Solution GrimReaper 4740 Posted November 4, 2024 Solution Posted November 4, 2024 Sounds like you've used "TV shows" type library - try using "Home Videos & Photos" content type library.
vanariekogel 2 Posted November 4, 2024 Author Posted November 4, 2024 Hi, the current type is mixed content.
GrimReaper 4740 Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Same goes for Mixed content. Alternatively, you might wanna restructure your files/folders as something is making parser think those documentaries are part of the same series. You can post screenshot of your filefolder structure/naming so changes required might be recommended.
vanariekogel 2 Posted November 4, 2024 Author Posted November 4, 2024 I have changed the type and am waiting for crawling. Some missing folders are showing up now.
vanariekogel 2 Posted November 4, 2024 Author Posted November 4, 2024 It works perfect now Thanks! 1 1
