CarPlay every time at car start music autoplay's then it stops

I have been using another very simple app for listening internet radio stream using CarPlay but a month ago when I updated to ios 18 it just stutters every 2 seconds the app received its last update 6 years ago. I gave emby a try and it has no issue with the stuttering I thought great but discovered annoying issue every single time I start the car music autoplays and then it just stops for unkown reason and I have to start the stream again. I am not touching the phone or the car display when the music stops. 

What is interesting when the car starts there is no playback started it only has playback stopped I left home at 9am and you can see it stops after a minute and

Then I start it again. Throughout the logs after it stops I start it again but it's just interesting there is never a start when I start the car.

This is strm file I will play a cd rip on the weekend to see is it same behaviour.

hi @denzwhen exactly does it stop? In the middle of a song, or in between songs?

I have just realised that it continues to play the song that was playing when the car was stopped. So it seems it keeps buffering it and eventually there is no buffer

Just want to bump this. It’s very odd that it once it disconnects from the car it keeps it in buffer once buffer finishes it can’t automatically reconnect
