Acuring 0 Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 How does this work? From what I read I use roms. I've put in some 3ds games but I don't see them on my server
Luke 42077 Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Hi there, what exactly did you do to setup games with your emby server?
Acuring 0 Posted November 3, 2024 Author Posted November 3, 2024 I tried following that tutorial, I got as far as emby theatre but I can't seen to add the game console. It shows as there isn't any consoles that show up. I have added it on the Gamebrowser but I'm lost from that point on. At first I just made a library and put .3ds games in and thought it would work or something but it didnt and then i did that tutorial but im suck now at the part of "Setting up Clients to Launch Games". even then I'm not fully sure whats going on
Neminem 1518 Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Emby is not an gaming emulator, unless you provide 1 your self.
Acuring 0 Posted November 3, 2024 Author Posted November 3, 2024 I'm aware, I've tried to add it in the "Setting up Clients to Launch Games" part using Citra to emulate 3ds but when I get to the part when it asks for Game System nothing shows up
Luke 42077 Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Do you see your games when browsing the Emby web app?

Hereeran 1 Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 (edited) Got stuck on this before—put some 3DS games on the server, but nothing showed up. Turns out the files needed to be in a specific folder structure and properly named, not just dumped anywhere. Also, using Blueberry-AI for managing all the game ROMs helped a lot. It kept everything organized and made it way easier to spot what was missing or misplaced. Edited June 4, 2025 by Hereeran 1

Ugh, file structure nightmares! Been there, done that. Glad you figured it out, and thanks for the Blueberry-AI recommendation, sounds like it could save me a headache down the line.
