Custom Plugin Channels (e.g. Top Picks) in "Recently Released Movies"

@chef@LukeIs there any way to remove custom channels like this from "Recently Released" since they appear in a row immediately below this one? To be clear, I'm happy that the actually "recently released" movie that is also a "top pick" is showing up there. But I don't want the "top pick" version of the item to duplicate there as well.

I appreciate that insight, I did think about it before posting in the general forum. And I'm happy to move there if everybody agrees.

But the reason I DIDN'T post there is that I don't think the problem is how "Top Picks" generates the items or makes a custom library. The problem here is that "Recently Released Movies" is grabbing all possible "Movies" and there's no way to decide which libraries it pulls from.

This would theoretically apply to any plugin that generates a "movie" item including any custom library or channel or w/e. not just "Top Picks".

I see your point, but Guess Emby's  "Recently Released Movies" sees it first.

And top picks makes a virtuel copy with the same release date.

Emby thinks its new and addes it to Recently Released Movies.

because Caddo Lake appears in Recently Released, it's top picks doppelganger is also appearing there.

The plugin is doing the best that it can but currently the only way it can accomplish it's goals is to create duplicate entries in the database. That's going to lead to some quirks. Once we have a smart views/playlists function, then hopefully it will be able to hook into that instead.
