Cinema Intros: Use Parental Control for User Defined Intros

Hi,

I am using the plugin for a long time and it works well, but now i have a new situation where kids are starting to use emby.

I use Custom/User defined Intros and i am not sure how i can add parental control / content rating for those intros so i can use the smart filtering.

Those self made intros are not part of any library as they are just intros so is there a way i can add something like "FSK-18" as a tag or embedded info using ffmpeg?
Do i need to create a custom NFO file and will the NFO be used and respected even if those files are not scanned and included in a library?

Any suggestions how to handle custom intros for the use with kids?

OK i think there is more about just how to do it.

1. I added a new Library with those intros, added content rating and tried to start a 6+ movie a few times.

It will also start the 18+ intros, so i think this is not working for custom intros.

2. The other thing i came across is, when i create a library for those intros, and do not allow other people to see this library because its just for the intros, i think they can't play those intros anymore or it will not respect the content rating.

3. Adding the intros as a own library to be able to add content rating and get NFO files, and hiding them afterwards using a .ignore file hides the intros, which is what it should do, but, this means they also won't get respected for age check /content rating because the users can't see them anymore.

So is there a way, to have custom intros, which should not appear in the users library, but should be played before the movie and respect the content rating?

yes that is what i mentioned, but even if i create a new library and add them in, added ratings and let create NFO for those files like for all of my movies, the rating for the custom intros is not respected.
So i think there need to be an update of the plugin to get it really working with custom intros

OK so you pointed the custom intros folder to existing library content. I wouldn't suggest doing this as this hasn't been tested.

No,

I created a new library and named it Trailers, this was the only way the movies could get analyzed and an NFO has been created, so i could manually add a parental rating.

How would you recommend to get custom trailers not detected in emby to add a rating so it could get respected?
I don't see another way to do this.

There currently is no feature for this. We would have to build this.
