chowbok 132 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 This is a weird problem, Certain videos I play start without audio, and they also kill audio on the Fire TV completely. Once I've played one of these videos, there's no sound even in the other apps or on the home screen. I have to restart the Fire stick completely to get sound back. This happens both in the Fire TV app and the Android app. Any thoughts? I'm attaching my server log. I enabled debug mode in the app, but I don't see the option to send client logs. embyserver.zip
ebr 16169 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Hi. I vaguely remember this issue from a long long time ago but don't recall the solution. Is this an older device? Exactly how is it connected? What is the audio codec of the item that starts the issue?
chowbok 132 Posted November 4, 2024 Author Posted November 4, 2024 It is an older model, connected on my LAN through wifi. The audio is AC-3, mono, constant 192kb bitrate. 1

Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares? Thanks.

chowbok 132 Posted November 11, 2024 Author Posted November 11, 2024 I'll have to get back to you on this, sorry. I swapped out the fire stick for now. I'll revisit later. 1
