Fehlermeldung auf Mac OS: "keine kompatiblen Streams"

Hallo zusammen

Wenn ich auf meinem iMac mit Mac OS 15 Sequoia den Emby-Server aufrufe, sehe ich die bekannte Oberfläche und kann auch alle Inhalte bearbeiten, den Server normal konfigurieren etc. Nur Filme kann ich keine mehr abspielen. Die tritt seit Mac OS 14 Sonoma auf. Die Fehlermeldung habe ich im Screenshot beigefügt. Ich verwende auf dem Mac den Vivaldi-Browser in Version 7.0.3495.10 (Stable channel) (x86_64), die aktuellste verfügbare Version also. Wenn ich den vorinstallierten Safari-Browser verwende, ist es das gleiche Problem. Auf meinem TV und den iPhones funktioniert aber alles normal.

Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte und ob man das beheben kann?

Yes, the libraries are all set as Emby library.
The thing with the crdownload means the file is not downloaded completely. After a download is complete, the crdownload is away.

But why is that seen by Emby.

Using a download folder in Emby is not smart.

Download to another folder, after download is done, move it into Emby folder.

Emby is seeing the new addition to the file and starts to process it, then remove, then readd, over and over again.

No, thats not a download folder on a computer, its the folders for the Emby server on my Synology NAS (Filme, Serien, Animationsfilme, Animeserien). That crdownload thing is only visible while a download runs. The term “CRDOWNLOAD” stands for “Chrome Download.” These temporary files act as storage space in which data for your requested file accumulates as it streams from the server.

We'll update the realtime monitor to ignore changes to crdownload files. That's not the reason for the issue here, but it will still be a good change to make as it will help reduce server activity.

@sabayonare you still having an issue with this? I don't see anything obvious yet. Are you sure the new file had been fully scanned in when you tried to play?

Good afternoon from Zurich.

Yeah, it's still the same. Every time I move a new movie or series episode into the Emby folder, I manually click on "Scan Library" to be on the safe side.
No idea, whats the problem. If I did something wrong, I wouldn't see anything on my TV or iPhone, right? But it only affects my computers at home. They are all iMacs or MacBooks, each with the latest MacOS and all updates.

Hello everyone.  

On my iMac with MacOS Sequoia I cannot watch films in my Vivaldi browser. On the same computer it works with the Chrome browser and also with Safari. Both the operating system and all three browsers are up to date. What irritates me most is the supposed difference between Chrome and Vivaldi (which is based on Chrome). Does anyone have an idea as to what this could possibly be?

Could be different security settings or even plugins/extensions.

on Windows but see no issue on Vivaldi 7.0.3495.23 (Stable channel) (64-bit)

Good evening Depending on the website or streaming platform, I receive the message that the video cannot be displayed correctly or that there is no compatible stream. But it's definitely NOT the individual source of a video as that happens in the Vivaldi Browser only. I can play all of that videos without problems in the Safari browser and in Chrome. I see that phenomenon in Facebook, Instagram, Roku a.s.o. and also in my Emby media center (the screenshots I made there).

 

 

 

I also asked about it in the Vivaldi help forum, but they still have no idea what the problem could be.
