djerniehoule 23 Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 My bad if this has been posted before but is there a way to search a playlist? I know you can search everything, but I am trying to build my playlists and want to avoid duplicates. It would be great if the search could be specific to the playlist that I am working on....

djerniehoule 23 Posted October 28, 2024 Author Posted October 28, 2024 Correct I’ve seen this, but some songs appear on several albums. The option to search an individual playlist would be great! 1
Tremas 197 Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 In my experience, the best way to search for duplicates using the existing tools in the web app is to open the playlist and click the "sort by" button (icon of three lines between shuffle and the heart) and sort by title. Then scroll the playlist and look for dupes or suspected dupes. You could also sort by artist and then visually check each artist block. Once you're done, you can then change the sort back to "Playlist Order." It's not as direct as a search or filter, but you if you are looking to check if a specific title is included multiple times, you can quickly scroll to it alphabetically. Also, you can right click (or click the three dot button) on any song and select "go to item" and you will get a display that show "included in" which will show you all the playlists where that song has been added. Hope that helps. 1
djerniehoule 23 Posted November 13, 2024 Author Posted November 13, 2024 I understand, but the option to search a playlist would be a big help.. 1 1
