Shprd 1 Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 I just set up an Emby server on my DSM. Everything is working properly except for the custom season artwork. My custom posters and fanart display correctly for the TV shows, but the season covers are still being downloaded from the internet instead of using my images. I'm attaching a screenshot of my folder structure. show.jpg = Series cover (it is working) Season01.jpg = Season cover art for Plex (it is working in Plex) Season01-poster.jpg = Season cover art for Emby (it is not working)
Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 Sorry I don't really follow as I had no issue applying Season01-poster.jpg to any show. My only guess would be a actual permission issue as this is a Synology. But server log for a specific example would be needed.

Yes, I've already tried it with no luck. 7 hours ago, Happy2Play said: Sorry I don't really follow as I had no issue applying Season01-poster.jpg to any show. The Emby app has read-write privileges to my multimedia folder, however I suppose only read would be enough to fetch my images. I'm attaching the server log from this morning. embyserver.txt Edited October 29, 2024 by Shprd
Shprd 1 Posted October 29, 2024 Author Posted October 29, 2024 I just tried something, and it worked! Instead of just selecting "Scan library files" for the entire series, I found that I need to manually right-click each season within every series and select "Scan library files" individually to refresh the season covers one by one. This method at least works, but it would be ideal to have a solution that requires less manual input. 1
