Emby Provider for Music Assistant

It probably wouldn't take too much effort to adapt the existing Jellyfin provider to the Emby API: https://github.com/music-assistant/server/tree/dev/music_assistant/server/providers/jellyfin

Hi, are you saying that code works with Emby as-is?

No. It does not. Jellyfin plugin for Music Assistant currently only works only with Jellyfin. It will connect to Emby, but the music library does not successfully sync.

@LukeThat's something I might be able to work on, I too had to setup a Jellyfin instance alongside Emby to get my library in Music Assistant, which is not ideal especially since Jellyfin has had severe memory leaks for a while now making it completely unusable here.

I don't have much time to develope anything, but let me know of you need a tester.

I have gotten used to rebuilding my MA database. I tried jellyfin, gonic, navidrome, lms, before coming back to emby. Emby is the clear winner for managing my music collection. For now I'm using local FS as the provider in MA. Its not perfect.

I was going to set this up in Home Assistant but find Emby sorely missing as a provider. Plex and Jellyfin are there but no Emby. @alucrydany updates?

After having Music Assistant playback fail multiple times using snapcast (and squeezebox also didn't work), I decided to give Lyrion music server a try.

Unlike Music Assistant, it supports DLNA as a provider, which gives it access to my Emby music library.

Playback to my SB Player (android) clients has been very stable so far.

Here's my setup:

• Library: Emby DLNA Server
• Stream Server: Lyrion Music Server
• Stream Clients: SB Player App (on old android TV boxes connected to speakers)
• Playback Control: Squeezer App (on my cellphone)

Hi: any update on this? Music Assistant doesn't support DLNA server so integration is needed. 

I can find Plex and Jellyfin integration but Emby is mssing which is really annoying. Would be nice to have Emby presented there as well.
