KIRBYROLL 1 Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 So, i'm making an Emby Server to sell to clients who want it, when i realized that the only way is by Emby Connect but obviously i wouldn't share my email and password with strangers. I tried using my server IP but it pops a message saying ''Unable to reach server'' when clearly my Emby Server is on, isn't there a way to share my server by, idk, an verification or something?

I want to share them because I created profiles for them, but I can't let them have my account.

Sharing with friends and family is perfectly within the "personal" usage of the software. It is when you start charging for usage that breaks the ToS. 5 minutes ago, KIRBYROLL said: I want to share them because I created profiles for them, but I can't let them have my account. So either get them to sign up for their own Emby Connect account here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/register/ and link it to their local Emby account. Or configure their local accounts only, and provide them username/passwords they can individually use (along with your server details). Note that you must configure your Emby Server for Remote Access if you wish to share with individuals outside of your home network.
