I have been using the inbuild "Wideo Station" for my movies, for years. Since this is being discontinued I have chosen Emby. It works, but one thing I cant grasp how to fix. When I want to ad a new library based on files on a Specific folder on the NAS it fails/does not conclude! I had the notion you could have several libraries 'together´...?

Still I have somehow succeded for one such folder:  /volume 1/Video-Samler... but doing it fpr any other folder on this volume 1 fails???

What can I do?

Anyone have some fb?

There is no response, creation of the new library, when I want to link to: /volume 1/Video-Too... there seems not to land any data in this library.

cant describe it more detailed, alas.

selecting during the proces, both parts are show in the scroll list!!!

Hi,

Have you given the internal Emby user access to the Video-Too share?
https://emby.media/support/articles/Synology-Set-Permissions.html

Assuming you have done that what happens when you select the Video-Too share adding it to a library?
Does the Video-Too path show as a library path when editing the library?

Try running a full library scan (scan library files button in library setup).
If your media hasn't been added when it completes the scan, upload a copy of your server-log found at the top of the list (Logs menu).

That was a deep dive into Synology, and there I could set the checkmark for the "Video-Too" shared folder

Thank you for the good links and respose... and getting to use Emby, I find it of gret use for me
