Request to Automatically Flag Downloaded Media as Played When Accessed

Hello,

When a user plays a downloaded song or podcast in offline mode, Emby should automatically mark the item as "Played." This feature would help users keep track of what content they have already listened to.

Hi, the activity does eventually get sent to your Emby Server so that the state is reflected just as if you had played it while connected online. It just takes time because it happens during the next background sync.

I don't think it really has a name. It just registers a background process on the device to run periodically.
