kjsanders86 1 Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 I'm dusting off this thread to see if anybody has come up with a final solution to this issue from last year. New installation on Synology 718+, using Android phone with Emby UI, trying to play to vaious Arylic Network amps via DLNA. Lifetime license. Issue 1: volume is not responsive via the app or using phone volume. Moving volume up or down manually is immediately reset to the previous level, and is not changed. Only after some time does it seem to catch up with the volume at which time it could be way too loud, and the process starts all over again. Have tested with other applications which produced the anticipated results of immediate volume up or volume down. Issue 2: As per this thread, playing to dnla will only play one song and then stop. It doesn't matter which direction I go( play all, play que, play playlist). Again have tried to reproduce the problem via other applications and cannot. Has anybody else on the Forum got this figured out and can seamlessly play to Arylic amps? I would hope it would not be any different than playing other DLNA devices renders. My assumptions, based on the features and benefits on the website, was that the DLNA aspect was working well. I certainly could have an odd installation/configuration but I doubt it. Thanks for any constructive feedback.
Luke 42077 Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Hi @kjsanders86please attach the emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks.
kjsanders86 1 Posted October 23, 2024 Author Posted October 23, 2024 Will do but traveling by boat and will take a few days. Really I was interested in a short tutorial of integrating Synology, Emby, and DLNA devices, possibly specifically the Arylic media streamer boards. There are currently a number of playback issues that may be solved by leveraging somebody else's experiences, instead of trouble shooting a specific case (mine). Thanks
