TV Show Theme Interrupts Music Playing

Experienced a few random times on Emby for Android Beta 3.4.20 on 2024 Sony Bravia Android TV.

Theme music  plays over a music queue whilst navigating the ui.

not able to reproduce to capture log.

I believe the intended design is for the a music queue to 'keep focus of the audio channel' as this is the general experience most of the time.

any one else seeing?

Yet another reason not to use the intrusive "themes" for audio and video. 
But everybody has different tastes and tolerance for intrusions. My tolerance for anything making noise that is not directly related to content actively playing is, to me, just unwanted noise and i really dislike noise. 

However if Emby has a feature, like themes for TV shows, it should work correctly and never interrupt what is actually playing.

never experienced in the web app.

ill keep an eye out for it and see if i notice a pattern...probably not enough to go on yet..

Also, just wanted to point out that the theme music doesn’t stop when you put the app in the background

I also experience this on Sony Bravia TV, i can get all the way to playing a Youtube video and Emby is still playing is still playing theme music. FWIW I think this may be tangentially related to the OP in that Android client sometimes doesn't feel like it has as tight control as the web client on theme music. This might be a misplaced sentiment clouded by my testing on a web client which is on the server as opposed to remote tv; so something might be going on more in that regard.

I haven't played around with it much, but I think on Android it plays songs as a foreground service and treats theme songs as actual songs, even showing them in the playback status on the server dashboard. There’s probably a thread about this issue, reported a few years ago.
