I keep getting this pop-up from my Malwarebytes software

If you have your Emby Server exposed to the web, these are probably from remote connections as a result of port scan on an IP range. 8096 is a pretty popular port now.

Someone is trying to access your Emby server.

You just need to let MalwareBytes do it's thing and block access.
