Hello.

First off, I love Emby!! I can't thank you enough for your hard work!

I am still new but recently discovered how to change the format of the movie name so that Emby grabs the correct artwork. Basically, I already had a library of movies in folders (not in individual folders as is suggested) and Emby was showing a lot of them on my TV with incorrect names and artwork. I figured out that some of the movies were named without the year, causing Emby to grab weird artwork and change the name of the movie, at least how it appears on my TV. I got it all sorted out, but there is one that is still stuck: The Decent 2005. It's a horror movie, and I have change the title with year, deleted and then added it again. I even grabbed a newer version, all with the (2005) at the end. No Matter what, Emby renames it "First Descent" which is a snowboarding documentary and adds the artwork for that movie. I read FAQs here and looked online, but I cannot figure out how to change it, manually or otherwise.

Any thoughts or workarounds?

Name your movie:

The Descent (2005) [tmdbid=9392].

Delete any NFOs (if saved with media), scan media library.

You can also right-click on "First Descent" poster and select "Identify" from the dropdown.

Thank you, Sir! I did read that part of the FAQ, but it didn't make sense to me. Now it does!

What would identifying the wrong poster accomplish?

You would re-Identify that item as correct movie from the results presented, either from Title search or providerId search.
