Server Restore from Backup - User images gone

I restored on a new machine a backup of my Emby Server, but all of the user images/avatars are not showing.  Is there a way to get them back? They are showing as broken images.

They are backed up but the issue it the path in the users.db as it will point to previous server install location.

So you have to manually update path in this db or reapply there image per the backup folder or if they were actually restored to new location.

 

Looks like something @Lukemay need to tokenize.

How do you update the DB?  Is it an actual database or just a text file?

Ultimately I found backups of all the users images, and there is only 6, so I was able to restore manually.

Shutdown Emby and use a sqllite viewer to look at and make changes per user or a command to update all users Paths to your new setup.

But changing systems or platforms the backup is not 100% compatible.

Yes. I just manually uploaded the images.  (surprisingly I was smart enough to back up the images!)

There were a few other anomalies, such as my user didn't have delete privileges, and the Kodi plug-in didn't install, but I've worked through all of them at this point I think.
