feltonquin 10 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Today I am seeing a playback error "No compatible streams" from multiple devices. The devices include MacOS MacBook (web browser) and an older iPad with the Emby app from the App Store installed. Normally my system works great so I am curious about these new errors. One thing to note: I did upgrade 2 of the 4 drives in my Synology NAS recently. Example logs attached with debug mode. embyserver-4.txt ffmpeg-transcode-f2f1b959-24a7-4802-b8d0-30e8a20b1156_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-85b9d094-b566-4a72-94db-5997efaf13bd_1.txt
Luke 42077 Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Hi, have you run a library scan since upgrading the drives?
feltonquin 10 Posted October 16, 2024 Author Posted October 16, 2024 (edited) I did a rescan under Library > Scan Library Files Then tested the iPad and still get playback error. New log files attached. (Other devices, laptop and iOS app, seem to work fine today... maybe just the old iPad is the issue.) embyserver.txt hardware_detection-63864661761.txt embyserver-63864661695.txt Edited October 16, 2024 by feltonquin 1
Luke 42077 Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 Hi, we're looking into this. Thanks for reporting.
feltonquin 10 Posted October 24, 2024 Author Posted October 24, 2024 Thank you. The web browser stream works on iPad. So just the iOS app that has the error. I'm happy to provide more logs if it helps. Emby is great. 1
