Mkv files stuttering on Fire TV only

I recently switched from a Google TV to a fire TV. All of my existing media containing mkv files now stutter badly. All other media is fine it seems and did work perfectly on the Google TV app. All other emby apps on other devices play fine for these files. I can solve the problem by enabling external playback and using VLC. I did just send logs from my fire TV in emby. I'm not sure what else to include. I'm on Emby server 4.8.10.0 (TrueNAS scale) and using the Amazon store app for the fire TV. Any ideas?

This is a TCL model 75Q550F TV, built-in Fire TV instead of a separate device. Though I'm not sure what version of Fire TV it may be. It is 4K.

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Ah, I didn't actually realize a separate app existed on the Amazon store. The non Fire TV app *does* seem to work fine. So apparently the problem is with the Fire TV specific app!

I don't really have an issue on my end, it seems to function very similarly to the Fire TV app. The only difference is that even though I unlocked the Fire TV app, the other app doesn't recognize the unlock or allow me to unlock it - it only gives the option subscribe to premier. I went ahead and did that anyway - but I'm not sure if that's a bug or not. Otherwise I'm good on my end.
