Revert Emby/Trakt?

I used to use Trakt years ago and wanted to start using it again. I installed the plug-in and and signed into my account and selected the following options:

 

But the issue was when I selected this from the my scheduled tasks, it completely reset everything I had watched over the past few years to "Unwatched" within Emby:

 

Is there anyway to reset this??

Hi, is your watch state correct on trakt? you could sync back from that.

Or do you have a backup of your server data?

It was accurate from when I last had used it, but that was over four years ago, so all of my added and watched content since then were marked as unwatched now.

I wish I did! Unfortunately I didn't create a back up before I had added the trakt plug-in. Any way to get a snapshot from the past or is that lost?

One quick update, at quick glance it looks like Emby was reverted back to the watch status from a few years back (e.g., a movie I saw right before installing trakt is now marked as unwatched), but my trakt account is correctly updated with everything I've seen.

So my new question is, how I can I update the watch status of Emby with the correct watch status listed within trakt?

And more importantly, any backups to be made beforehand?

So is the data on Trakt correct and you want to import that into Emby Server?

I'm not sure why, but yes, Trakt correctly shows what I have watched (but Emby does not anymore). Any suggestions?

Good question. After I did the "Export Library to Trakt" scheduled task and it reverting my Emby, I didn't want to run "Import playstates from Trakt.tv" without confirming here it was safe to do so.

Any recommendations backing up Trakt? Don't want to lose that or have it overwritten...

Hi, I'm not sure. Does their website have any kind of export data function?
