using Radio in a TV guide

The TV platform in VirtualTVExample allows channels to be populated with both "TV" and "Radio" content.  I have mastered building "TV" channels.  Now I am trying to build a "Radio" Channel.  I tried populating the Channel with audio-based content, but that caused a "Cast" error when one of the audio shows in the TV Guide was clicked.  What kind of content does a Radio Channel require and what format should it be in?

Hi ,I believe it was for audio content, yes. What was the error?

@LukeI recreated building a radio channel with audio content and it worked. The unusual thing about it is that it worked both when the channel type was set to "TV" or "Radio". In my first test, when playing the channel failed, I received an error message saying that the played content could not be cast to the required type.

I must have made a mistake some where.

Luke, thanks for the help.

@Luke , the audio channel plays correctly on the Emby Web Client but does not play on the Samsung TV (Android) client.  I tried both "TV" and "Radio" channel types. I get an "Unable to tune to channel at this time" error.

@LukeDo you have any idea why my audio channels do not play on Emby clients for TVs?  They only play on the Web Client.

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Thanks.

OK I will do that ASAP.  Once I do that what do I do with the app.  Do I use it on my PC, or do I load it onto the TV?

I have it installed and I am testing it now

@Luke, on the standard android app everything works OK, except all programs always start at the beginning. That problem might not yet be fixed.

Thanks for the help...
