Power was out for 3 days, after which Emby Premiere was happy, even tho the internet wasn't restored for 7 days, 8 hrs. Premiere features (access to my network OTA TV tuner) stopped at 7 days even. Tethering my phone was on my list of planned experiments, but major cellular networks were also affected. B^( I know the devs have revisited this a number of times, but I'm not lovin' the current solution.

d00zah 149 Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 (edited) Premiere features (most importantly, my TV tuner) stopped working 7 days after last successful 'phone home'. Everything else that didn't require internet continued to work... locally stored content. Emby Theater / HDHR app were also useless w/out internet. Had I had reliable cellular service, a tethered phone would have allowed Emby to successfully phone home & keep things working, IF I understand correctly. Edited October 9, 2024 by d00zah

I DO see a generator, & recently deployed area fiber internet (buried) in my future, tho, having been reminded of my technology addiction. Hope you are enjoying Emby!
