Question about Flex Raid

I've been experiencing problems saving metadata and images recently. I added the movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes to my server yesterday, and it did not download the artwork. I also cannot download images via the edit option in the web client. I can click on the item, click on edit, click on images, click on browse images, then click on Download for an image, and after about 5 seconds, I am presented with my MBS login screen. I can add and delete files from that directory via Windows Explorer, but cannot get MBS to write to it for some reason. I even went into FlexRAID web client and added a server share for Everyone and gave FULL permissions(though I don't like the idea of keeping that) and still MBS is failing to add the images/metadata. Does anyone have any insight into this?

I restarted the server, and after the library scan completed I attempted to manually download an image via the web client, and here is the log file from that session:

The redirect is an error, but the inability to save is nothing we can correct. See:

Access to the path '\\JESSE-PC\Media Server\HD Movies\Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014)\folder.jpg' is denied.
    System.UnauthorizedAccessException

So it looks like the server is trying to save, but not getting access to do so.

Thanks Luke, I kind of suspected this was a permissions problem, but like I said I added a full permissions server share for everyone in flexraid. Also, I was confused as to why I was presented with the login page when it failed to download the image when I tried a manual download.

Does anyone use FlexRAID 2.0? I assume this is a configuration issue...Do I need to add a server share with full permissions for MediaBrowserServer? If so, how would I go about doing that?

@@ebr, I was hoping you could help me after I found this thread:

http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/10171-change-fanartjpg-for-existing-showmove/?hl=feerlessleadr

I am exhibiting this same behavior(inability to move backdrop order), but I am running windows7x64. I can't figure out my problem. I went into windows disk manager and enabled FULL permissions for everyone on each of the 3 drives I'm currently running in FlexRAID(Prior to doing this I exhibited the behavior I mentioned in the beginning of this thread). I have a server share setup in FlexRAID web client allowing FULL permissions to Everyone for the entire storage pool. I'm stumped...Could you possibly show me how you have your FlexRAID pool configured for MediaBrowser?

Nothing fancy.  I just have several drives pooled into a single volume (V:) and then four shares created on that volume with "Everyone" with full access.  Only two of those shares are actually accessed by MB.

Well, I don't know about specifically...  I just have four shares on the machine.

I just have the root drive shared. Maybe if I share just the individual folders like you've done I will have different results? I'll have to try it when I get home from work.
