One account - multiple servers and users?

I created account for Emby

1st server vas my personal PC

2nd server is my Synology

 

Why I cant under same account see what I already watch?

Both my servers ... they are both on same account

 

When I open personal PC ih has own user (darksideno1)

Synology has user emby

Why Emby can't see or be one account like Plex and you can under one name see what you watched if you had movies on more servers? Now I transfer all movies and TV shows from desktop to synology and had to all mark as watched again.

 

Is there easy way? I don't want to mark all as watched again

Because your servers are "unaware" of each other, each server keeps track only for its users.

Because Emby operates on a different principle, there is no central auth server, each server is completely separate/self-contained.

You'd need to use some external service/plugin, like Trakt.

You can use the Backup and restore plugin and backup one server, point the other server to that backup and Extract Data from the Backup to map userdata to each created user on new server.

There is really no easy way to keep them in sync besides I guess Trakt as mentioned above
