dppg3 6 Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 Hi, is there a trick to extract and show the cover art, which is embedded in the file? Not all of my albums have the cover art als a folder.jpg. Especially the older ones are just embedded. I have checked the corresponding checkbox. But somehow the results in the library are mixed. Many albums don't show a cover album at all... Thanks in advance!

It is embedded in the file tag, so if you find a tag editor that will display embedded artwork you will be able to see it. MP3Tag is a popular choice. I use DBPoweramp myself, but I rip my stuff off disk for the most part so its ability to be an all in one rip (rips almost anything and adds things like replay gain while ripping ), tag, sort, and convert works for me. The tag viewer/editor integrates into Windows so I can just right click on files and edit the tag.
