Android App on Firestick (Not FireTV App) de-interlace

I recently removed the fireTV App and installed the android App on my firestick because I wanted lyrics support (which the FireTV app doesnt have)

Now when I play many of my LiveTV Channels I have green lines across them.  In the firetv app I selected de-interlace and that fixed the issue.

There is no option for that in the Android App, how can I achieve the same playback?

I assumed the android app was de-interlacing anyway but it appears not to be.

I only want to know how to turn on de-interlacing.

This fixes the issue in the FireTV App.  Its no issue, it just not de-interlacing in the Android Sideload App.
