Closed captioning duplicating characters

Hello, 

I have a HD home run to watch live tv on Emby. My grandma likes to watch our local CBS channel 2. The only issue seems to be that the closed captioning will duplicate characters making them hard to read (see attached screenshots). I can get this to occur on my phone (iOS) and her TV (Fire TV Stick). I thought maybe it could have been coming from the HD home run like this so I tested it with playing back on the channels app on my phone from the hd home run and it works fine. I could be wrong but this makes me think it is Emby related. She thinks she has only seen it on our local channel 2 but she rarely goes onto other channels and I don’t watch live tv with closed captioning to notice. Let me know if there are any suggestions you have to try and resolve this or if you need any additional info from me.
