Upgrade problem

I started to get messages that I needed to upgrade my server. I'm on a Mac, the server is on a QNAP TS-453D NAS and was running 4.8.8.0 (although I didn't discover that until later). I downloaded Intel/AMD 64-bit and installed. My iPad still demanded an upgrade. I eventually removed the app from QNAP and reinstalled. My iPad continues to demand an upgrade and my Mac goes to black when I open Emby. Help! And thanks.

Hi - after a lot of attempts to resolve I discovered that the solution was to restart the server. At that point it no longer demanded an upgrade and I got access. Only problem now is that in the attempt to fix the problem I removed Emby from the server and lost path to my files. I have a QNAP NAS with another QNAP attached. Problem is I can't find the path and all the online suggestions involve lots of code and other things. I'm a designer on a Mac (although a very old designer) and all I need is a way to see the complete path that I can use for rebuilding libraries. Can you point me towards something that will help out? Thanks for this.

Hi, what exactly did you remove?

I went to the server, Apps and removed and then reinstalled Emby. When I reopened Emby there was no longer any info on movies, it was blank.

What exactly do you see? Can you please attach the Emby server log?

Thanks.

@mrdoowahwhat do you mean exactly by no longer saw previous info? Were screens blank? Were you taken to the server startup wizard?
