nfsmall 0 Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 I was using Video Station/DS Video previously, and it worked great. I installed Emby for my new Synology, which doesn't support Video Station, and the sound is delayed on television playback by 1 - 2 seconds. Is there anything I can do to get the same in-sync audio and video playback as DS Video gave me? FWIW, all movies are ripped as mpeg-2, using the Firestick app. I'm desperate to find an app that can playback a movie with sound that's in-sync with the video. This doesn't seem like a difficult thing... any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
nfsmall 0 Posted September 24, 2024 Author Posted September 24, 2024 This isn't an issue you have solved in the past/ Before I pay for the Emby subscription, I need to know if this can be solved. It's certainly not a network issue. Any recommendations or settings I can check/change?
Carlo 4560 Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 Hi @nfsmall We need the information requested by Luke above to have a look at the log to see information about the playback of the media. If you could retest this with a particular movie or show/episode, upload the log file and tell us the media played back you did the test with so we can have a look. Thanks, Carlo
