Streaming Same Channel on 2 of the same devices One Playback Error

As you can see on the screenshot below. 

I have One stream that says its recovering from a playback error and one doesn't. They are both here at my house, wired connection, running the same device (Nvidia Shield) and same app from the play store. 

I also attached the log of the Recovering from playback error stream. I couldn't find one for the stream that is doing Direct Play.

The one that does say Recovering from playback error seems to have a brief pause (like 1second) so its quick enough to notice the audio stopped and you notice the screen was frozen for a split second.

Why is the one saying converting to a compatible container and the other one isn't?

Does one of the apps have the option to allow direct streaming TS and the other not?
