TeamB 2438 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 @nuentes I just checked with the skin you are using. You just have to scroll down on the categories list on the left side to get to the settings categories you are not able to see. If your views are empty (no number ID next to them) then you have not set them yet using the context menu. Once you have set up default views and sorting, they should always be used when viewing content via EmbyCon.

I get it's probably because I'm not supposed to change them. But my Episodes view is set to 504. I went into a Episode view, and changed it, and my Episodes view is still set as 504 in EmbyCon. I've tried this a few different times from within the app. No matter what changes I make, the Views don't seem to change.

Ah yes... I forgot about using the "Set Default View". Ok, so the view saved now. However, the sorting is weird. I see my sorting for Episodes is "Not Set". The episodes are sorting in a weird manner. I looked at the other options available in EmbyCon/Settings/Sorting/Episodes, and while setting it to "Default" actually sorts by episode, the skin doesn't add the "sXee" prefix to each episode that an "Episode" sorting method would. Is it possible to add "Episode" as a Sorting method for "Episodes"?

If you want episode lists to be episode sorted but leve the sorting as unset in the EmbyCon Sorting settings, Kodi then should use Episode sorting. However, I can see how forcing it might something people want, so I will add Episode sorting to the available options in the EmbyCon sorting settings.
TeamB 2438 Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 latest version has sort by episodes for episode listings.
