Prizm 0 Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Any way to prevent the PC from going to sleep during streaming, besides turning off sleep/suspend in Linux? I couldn't find an option in the Emby server settings. This does not happen on Windows when using Emby, Plex, or a Jellyfin server (Windows will go to sleep when using any of these apps if there's no video streaming to another device). I'm using Linux Bazzite (Fedora 40, Gnome 46), and the Emby server is version 4.8.8.0 (Flatpak). Thanks
Luke 42077 Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Hi, preventing sleep on Linux is something we need to look at. We’ve already done it for windows and macOS as you’ve noticed. Thanks.
drakien 0 Posted August 25, 2025 Posted August 25, 2025 (edited) Hi, were there any changes made to this behaviour in Linux? Edited August 25, 2025 by drakien
