No keyboard shortcuts for controlling music playback?

Newbie user here, trying out Emby, when playing music the keyboard shortcuts are not working for me i.e. space bar to pause/stop, etc. This is pretty basic for almost any media app. Doesn't Emby provide this or am I missing something?

I don' t have a mac, so can only get so fare.

Is the browser in focus when you try ?

What screen are you on when testing? Space bar will only toggle pause on the now playing screen.

On the now playing screen, trust me, not missing anything obvious, do this all the time as I'm a guitarist and practice tunes often Apple music, VLC media player, Plex, they all have this basic feature, really weird. Maybe I'm missing something obvious that's Emby specific.
