seangermany 5 Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 (edited) Hello All, I cannot figure out how to manually map the channel for my hdhomerun 3 (cable card tuner). Please see attachments. Let's take MSNBC for example. Hdhomerun finds it at channel 830. Without the emby tv guide, the channel works fine - but I have no guide data. However, when I do use your guide, it is mapped to channel 1113 - and emby cannot pick up the stream. I cannot figure out how to edit this. Can some please assist? Thank you. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I cannot find out where to change it. Can some please assist? Thank you.
Luke 42077 Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 HI, did you try clicking on it in the channel editor to map to da different channel?
seangermany 5 Posted September 17, 2024 Author Posted September 17, 2024 (edited) Hi Luke. Yes, I did. There's an entry for "GUIDE data Channel" in the edit tab. It is currently set to 830 - which is the hdhomerun channel map. As a test, I tried to change it to the incorrect guide data map (1113), and save. However, it didn't save the changes. I clicked on edit again, and it reverted back to 830. It appears as if the guide data overrides everything else. Thanks for your reply. Edited September 17, 2024 by seangermany
seangermany 5 Posted September 18, 2024 Author Posted September 18, 2024 All, I ended up deleting both the tuner and the guide and rebuilding. Everything is currently working. Issue resolved. 1
