arrbee99 1815 Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 A while ago there seemed to be much moaning when Synology switched from Intel to AMD in their NASes. I gather it was to do with Quck Sync, or lack thereof. Am I correct in assuming that if I buy a NAS without Quick Sync but use it just for storage, and it feeds a main PC with Emby server, also AMD but with a graphics card, I don't need to care about lack of Quick Sync on the NAS ?
