Android app no unlock - only Android TV

I recently moved from Plex to Emby. I paid for 1 month Emby Premier and was liking it. Unfortunately I don’t have the money to buy the lifetime at the moment, so I chose to unlock the apps.

i purchased and unlocked them on iPad IOs. However on my Android TV the app only has the option to unlock via Emby Premier subscription. I found another app Emby for Android TV so I downloaded that and purchased the unlock. However , not sure if it’s not in my kind, but the picture quality doesn’t seem as good. Is there a way for me to use the other Android app without a subscription?

Standard/Universal Android app currently requires active Premiere subscription for Full playback on TV devices. App Unlock is feasible only on mobile devices.

Maybe that was transcoded session on AndroidTV app whereas DirectPlayed on Standard app, as with all conditions being equal - there should be no noticeable difference between the apps. Specific example would be required.

i have a Hisense googleTV and I purchased the app

i also have a Sony OLED google TV but when I click “unlock purchase” it doesn’t work, see image and image of my confirmed receipt (yes I’m signed into the same google account)

Are you logged in with the same Google account on both devices, as unlocks are tied to store accounts?

i even restarted my tv , signed out and in with google (same account)

Still won’t unlock
