AC3-EAC3 as PCM when next episode plays on Android app on Shield

Else all bitstreamed soundformats works as expected all the time. This only happens when next episode in a series plays automatically after another. If I stop and restart playback it works as it should.

Using  arm-64 3.4.21. Cant say I noticed this before on older versions. The AndroidTV app does not have this problem. Attachments is just an example. Tried several others

Great. Im now on .30 and its still there occationally, or maybe like it was....

Watched a couple or three episodes  yesterday with .31 and it didnt happen then. Dunno if you did something or it was just a fluke  Ill keep trying

So, I let 10 test episodes play after eachother and it sent eac3 to the receiver in all episodes. Could be a fluke has happened before, but not with so episodes

Maybe its fixed  I let them run once again later.

And you somehow have removed the x from the 'Stats for nerds' window, have to select it again from the menu to remove it. Please fix

No, it wasn't a fluke before, but there have been updates to the video player, so there's a chance it could be resolved.

I did run them again withh success  So it seemes it works now.

Well not completly working. Paused something for about 15 minutes yesterday, and when resuming the eac3 bitstreaming was not working. Had to stop and restart the video for it to work again.

I also get this however when starting a new episode. Seems like the TV theme in the menu is PCM and when I click play it carries on using pcm. Doesn't happen everytime but requires and app restart to fix
